New Chromeleon 7.1 Chromatography Data System Software Brings Operational Simplicity to the Enterprise

Dionex Corporation has released the new enterprise-ready Chromeleon® 7.1 Chromatography Data System. The software combines smart functionality (Simply Intelligent™) with a simple user interface (Operational Simplicity™), and provides the fastest path from samples to results, boosting overall productivity. Chromeleon 7.1 software adds support for ASE® Accelerated Solvent Extractors, Charged Aerosol Detectors, Electrochemical Detectors, and Dionex Summit HPLC Systems, as well as LC and GC instruments from Agilent, Waters, and Shimadzu.

For UHPLC users, a method speed-up wizard generates UHPLC methods from existing HPLC methods, making faster chromatography easily accessible. Chromeleon 7.1 software also supports 3D amperometry to enable the study and characterization of nonchromophoric compounds with lower cost and complexity compared to mass spectrometry.

Enterprise management features make Chromeleon 7.1 software easy and economical to deploy on a large scale. Centralized license management, centralized data storage, enhanced network failure protection, easy workstation and network setup, and efficient administration tools all save time, ensure reliable operation, and minimize costs.

Compliance tools now include System Suitability Testing and Electronic Signatures. Together with Chromeleon software's fine-grained security system, detailed Audit Trails, and automated validation tools, the new tools make maintaining compliance with GLP and 21 CFR Part 11 easier.

New Interactive Charts-unique to Chromeleon software-instantly reveal patterns in results. Dynamic interactive links between charts, chromatograms, spectra, and tables invite exploration and discovery. Injection Queries now produce virtual sequences that can be reported and charted as if the injections had all been originally generated by a single sequence.

Key innovations were carried forward from Chromeleon 7.0, including: eWorkflows, which simplify any chromatography process to a few easy steps; MiniPlots, which provide an instant visual summary of large data sets; Cobra™ peak detection algorithm and SmartPeaks™ integration assistant, which deliver desired peak treatments with just a few clicks.
